Players of the Week Week 7

Offense

Joe Hills (TBS)

Hills (6'4", 220, Tennessee State), the sure handed receiver helped the Storm to a 53-47 victory over the Washington Valor in Week 7. Hills led with a game-high 11 receptions for 123 yards and three receiving touchdowns, including the game winner with three seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. The three-touchdown performance marks the 43rd time he has caught three or more touchdowns in a game in his five-plus year career.Hills becomes the first back-to-back AFL Player of the Week in 2017.

Defense

Joe Goosby (PHI)

Goosby (6'1", 235, Tulane) had quite the stat line in the 64-46 Philadelphia Soul victory over the Cleveland Gladiators last week. Playing in his 101st AFL game, the linebacker made three tackles, intercepted two passes, forced a fumble, returned a failed two-point conversion for a two-point score and recovered a pair of onside kicks.
